Ellie
is 7 y.o. and is potty trained and house trained.
Her owners needed to move to a place where they didn't
allow potbellied pigs. She tolerates other pigs here,
but would prefer a home without too much comotion.
She would probably do best in an adult only home,
or someone that knows potbellied pigs. She can be
crabby and bossy especially with her blankets and
her sleeping area. She is a typical spoiled pot bellied
pig.
Hello,
my name is Missy and I am a very sweet and beautiful
Calico adult cat that needs a loving, forever home.
I am an older adult with lots of years to love. Please
mail in my adoption
ap, and come and visit with me.
Hi,
I am Silver Fox. I stumbled upon this
sanctuary place, and found they had decent
food and digs so here I am. They scooped
me up fast cause I was easy to catch,
then they got me fixed, and vacinated
and now I am ready to go to my new home.
I love to snuggle and sit with you. I
am purrrfect and I would love to be your
new best friend. I use my potty all the
time, and still have my claws - the way
it should be. I use scratching posts just
fine. Please fill out an adoption
ap, and come and visit me.
We

Jimi,
Jingi, JoJo, & Jack
We
are about 14 weeks old, and our personalities
have changed already in the last few days
here at MAPPAR so its kinda hard to describe
too much about us. Other than we are too
cute! The main things you need to know
about us, is that we all will be altered
before you adopt us, and will be current
on all vacs, and we will need lots of
love and care for the rest of our lives.
We would like a warm bed, good food, proper
vet care and nutrition and lots and lots
of love. You must not ever declaw us.
Please download an adoption
ap at info@mappar.org
Jack
Roarrrrrr!!!
I am Jack!!! I am a big boy, but my Roar
is bigger than me. I try to act tough,
but I get a little scared at times and
need encouragement. My heart is a big
teddy bear.
Jimmy
I
am Jimmy...Did I stutter? I said I am
Jimmy!!! I am butter in your hands and
playful when I am not with you. Plus I
really have the best nose around.
Jingi
Hello!
My name is Jingi. I am a cute fearless
little girl. I'm not scared to run around
with the big dogs. And love to play with
Jo Jo.
JoJo
I
am Jo Jo..And yes, I may not look like
the other 3 clowns, but I am their sister.
I am a cute little lover girl that just
wants to be by you. The boys like to roughhouse
me, but like Jingi, I'm no Scaredy Cat.
Traveler
is a sweet, loveable, older cat that requires you
to give her insulin twice a day. She is very sweet
and needs a great home that undertands her. If you
can't adopt her, but would like to support her insulin
habbit, please consider making
a donation. Thank you.
Wilma
is a rare Plott Hound breed. As all hounds she is
highly sensitive, loyal and loving. She is about 3
years old. Potty Trained and Crate Trained She was
found Roaming the countryside with her leash and very
skinny. She obviously came from an abusive situation.
When Mappar first got here she would get so upset
and scared she would get hives. She appears to be
afraid of certain Men, but not others. She is a vocal
dog, but we keep a bark collar on her and that seems
to take care of most of her vocalization. We don't
consider her cat safe because if she sees a cat run
or on the other side of the fence she tries to chase
it. Although she does cohabitate with a cat just fine.
It has to be a confident cat that is dog savvy and
does not RUN from a dog. We do not recommend small
children, because we think she wold trample them or
jump on them. She thinks she is a small lap dog. She
does have some food issues. For Example: She likes
to steal cat food cans from the sink and bring them
in her kennel and stand guard. To remedy this we close
her kennel until she is ready to "let go" of the cans
and come out on her own. The we get what she is guarding
out of her kennel. And she is also fed in her kennel
away from all the other dogs. Wilma knows the word
"no" and she is very receptive to a squirt bottle
of water. All she has to do it see it to modify her
behavior. Wilma is a wonderful beautiful loving girl.
She plays well with the other dogs, loves to be a
"lap" dog, loves walks (she does well on a gentle
lead) and toys. Plott hounds are generally hearty
breeds that don't tend to have a lot of health issues.
We consider her a dominant female, she does become
submissive to other dogs as she gets to know them
and plays with them. You would make a good home to
Wilma if you have a fenced in yard, no other animals
or 1 or 2 other dogs, enjoy walking a dog, Patience-
it will take her time to adjust to a new home, and
a large crate that she calls " home" and is her safe
zone. Previous dog ownership is a plus. Please
adopt me.
Thank
you to all;
our adopters, sponsors, donors, and volunteers we couldn't
do it without you. Thank you: artophia.org,
