Hi,
I am Silver Fox. I stumbled upon this
sanctuary place, and found they had decent
food and digs so here I am. They scooped
me up fast cause I was easy to catch,
then they got me fixed, and vacinated
and now I am ready to go to my new home.
I love to snuggle and sit with you. I
am purrrfect and I would love to be your
new best friend. I use my potty all the
time, and still have my claws - the way
it should be. I use scratching posts just
fine. Please fill out an adoption
ap, and come and visit me.
We
are about 14 weeks old, and our personalities
have changed already in the last few days
here at MAPPAR so its kinda hard to describe
too much about us. Other than we are too
cute! The main things you need to know
about us, is that we all will be altered
before you adopt us, and will be current
on all vacs, and we will need lots of
love and care for the rest of our lives.
We would like a warm bed, good food, proper
vet care and nutrition and lots and lots
of love. You must not ever declaw us.
Please download an adoption
ap at info@mappar.org
Jack
Roarrrrrr!!!
I am Jack!!! I am a big boy, but my Roar
is bigger than me. I try to act tough,
but I get a little scared at times and
need encouragement. My heart is a big
teddy bear.
Jimmy
I
am Jimmy...Did I stutter? I said I am
Jimmy!!! I am butter in your hands and
playful when I am not with you. Plus I
really have the best nose around.
Jingi
Hello!
My name is Jingi. I am a cute fearless
little girl. I'm not scared to run around
with the big dogs. And love to play with
Jo Jo.
JoJo
I
am Jo Jo..And yes, I may not look like
the other 3 clowns, but I am their sister.
I am a cute little lover girl that just
wants to be by you. The boys like to roughhouse
me, but like Jingi, I'm no Scaredy Cat.
Traveler
is a sweet, loveable, older cat that requires you
to give her insulin twice a day. She is very sweet
and needs a great home that undertands her. If you
can't adopt her, but would like to support her insulin
habbit, please consider making
a donation. Thank you.
Wilma
Hello, I am
Wilma (aka Zoe-the dog). I am a good girl whem I am
not being naughty. And that's more often lately. I
have been taking obedience classes and going on long
long walks that I love so much. I wish I had more
and my own humans to do it with. I am a young 2 year
old plothound. I've been at Mappar for nine months
now. So, what can I say about myself? I am potty trained
and crate trained and I am a 2 years old Plott Hound.
I came to Mappar unspayed and now I am spayed and
happy, because it makes me more mellow not to have
those crazy hormones coursing through my body. I enjoy
going for walks, rides in the car, rides in the wheelbarrow
in the back yard, playing with stuffed animals and
playing with my foster dog sisters. I also am very
good at catching those darn flies! I am good with
other dogs, cats that aren't scared of dogs and of
course, pot bellied pigs. I am loyal to my people
and am a fast learner. I love to sit with you on the
couch, if that is okay with you. My one weakness is
food. I counter surf and can be very protective of
food and treats. So, if I live with other dogs I need
to be fed and given treats separately from the other
pets in the house. I still have some learning to do,
but I am very smart and eager to please. So, if you
have read this far, you know Mappar is not a permanent
home for me, so if you have it in your heart and home
to adopt me it would make me very happy. I would be
best in a home with a fenced in yard, and if your
wondering, I am good with older children. Please
adopt me.
Hey
there dude and ddudettes my name is Sadie, I have
been with my humans since I was about 7 weeks old.
My mom bought me from the breeder cause they said
I stood out and looked cute. I am up to date on my
shots and was groomed in June ( I am ready for another
trip). I need to be groomed about every 12 weeks professionally
please. I am a bit of a diva when it comes to my hair
and nails. I had 2 litters of pups with 3 pups each,
before I got spayed. Some would say I am a "yappy"
dog since I will bark at any squirrel, dog, cat, or
my shadow in some circumstances. I have never gotten
over the urge to run and if not on a leash I will
likely take any opportunity to run. I am so comfortable
with people that I'll gladly allow anyone to pick
me up. I am great with kids but I need supervision
with toddlers (as do ALL dogs really)since I would
rather not have my face poked. I haven't bitten anyone,
ever, but I do snap. I hate to have my nails trimmed
and from the struggles I've had with my humans, I
have requested that they and my new home leave it
up to the professionals. So if you are interested
in adopting me if you are not a professional groomer,
you should be willing to take me to one at least every
12 weeks. I have been a beloved family pet but my
humans can't give me the attention and shorter periods
between bathroom breaks. A 12 hour day is too long
for anyone to hold their potty if ya know what I mean!
. I sleep in bed with the kids and I shake my head
to rattle my tags when I need to go out. I really
would love a fenced yard and due to my small size
(9 lbs) can be happy in smaller area. Please save
me from this crazy and over crowded shelter. They
also need a new cat house for all those cats, so if
you can help out and donate that would be swell. Donate
to the cat house.
